Who operates Shortsly

Shortsly is operated by Volodymyr Markiv, with a registered or business address at Schnirchgasse 13, Wien, Austria. “Shortsly”, “we” and “us” refer to that operator; “you” means the person or organisation using the service. Contact: support@shortsly.io.

By creating an account or using Shortsly, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you use Shortsly for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it to these Terms.

The service

Shortsly turns a script and selected media into an AI-directed short video. It can plan scenes, generate or adapt images, remove backgrounds, create speech, write captions and provide an editor and browser-based export. Scripts are limited to 250 words per project.

AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, non-unique or unsuitable. You must review every output before publishing or relying on it. Browser export speed and compatibility depend on your device, browser, project and available memory.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of a material change when practicable, but emergency, legal, security and provider changes may take effect immediately.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter a contract where you live and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your credentials, activity under your account and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.

You may not sell, share or transfer an account, evade limits by creating multiple accounts, interfere with the service or use automated access unless we expressly permit it.

Credits, subscriptions and payment

AI work is metered in credits. The free plan currently includes 450 per allowance period. Creator includes 2,000 for $24 per month. Pro is available with 4,500 for $49 per month, 6,500 for $69 per month and 9,500 for $99 per month. Annual billing costs 10 monthly payments for twelve months, so 2 months are free, while allowances continue monthly. Listed prices exclude tax; the checkout shows the binding price, currency, billing period and tax added for your location before purchase.

Before a generation starts, Shortsly may reserve the displayed maximum credit cost. Completed work is charged as it succeeds; the unused reserved amount is released automatically. Work already delivered remains charged if a later step fails. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may expire with the allowance period that granted them.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from the Subscription page; cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves paid access available until the end of the current period. Payment processing is provided by Stripe.

Your content and output

As between you and Shortsly, you retain your rights in content you upload and, to the extent the law permits, output created for you. You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, transform and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service you request.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for every script, image, video, voice, likeness, trademark and other material you use. You are responsible for your output, disclosures required for synthetic media, and compliance with the laws and platform rules that apply when you publish it.

AI providers may produce similar output for others, and we cannot guarantee that an output is protectable, exclusive or free of third-party rights.

Providers and availability

Shortsly relies on providers including Clerk for authentication, Stripe for billing, OpenAI for planning and image operations, ElevenLabs for speech, PostHog for product analytics and Google Analytics for consented traffic measurement. A provider outage, refusal or policy change can delay or prevent the related feature.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may limit, suspend or remove content or accounts where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms.

Ending your account

You may cancel a subscription without deleting the account. You may also request or use available controls to delete the account; deletion removes access and starts deletion of projects and account media, subject to brief recovery, security, backup and legally required retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate an account for a material or repeated breach. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Shortsly is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, original, lawful for your intended use or fit for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss where the law allows that exclusion.

Law, changes and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections and the courts available to you under the law of your residence remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms. For a material change, we will provide notice in the app or by email and may ask you to accept a new version before continuing. Questions: support@shortsly.io.
